The program

The Citylight Reston Text Line sends text messages from Wearecitylight, known as Citylight Church (Citylight Reston) to people who sign up or who text us first. Messages are about Sunday services, planning a visit, and next steps at Citylight Reston. Some replies are written with the help of an AI assistant using information Citylight Reston has approved, and a person from our team is available anytime.

How to sign up

Text HELLO (or any message) to (571) 777-0316, or use the form at our page. The form works if you leave the text-message box unchecked, and no texts are sent unless you check it. Signing up for texts is optional and is not required to attend, give or receive help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, donation or service.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies: replies to your texts, plus up to 4 scheduled messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to (571) 777-0316 at any time to opt out. You'll get one message confirming you've opted out, and no more texts after that. Reply START to opt back in.

Reply HELP for help. Reply HUMAN to reach a person. You can also contact Citylight Reston through info@wearecitylight.org.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available on US mobile numbers.

Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
